Office of Management and Budget (OMB): State budget information and cash management bidding opportunities.

Pension and Benefits: Information regarding pensions for government workers.

Property Management and Construction (DPMC): Architect/Engineer and Construction information related to State government buildings, lease, rental and sale of State property, and State property wanted.

Public Contracts EEO Compliance: Affirmative Action and Equal Employment compliance for vendors with contracts with the State.

Public Finance: State debt information.

Purchase and Property: Doing business with State government, vendor contracts, bid notices, and register to do business with the State.

Revenue: Start or register a business in New Jersey, notary public forms, and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Searches.

Risk Management : Identifies the potential loss of State assets and injury to State employees. Provides active leadership in reducing risk and the loss to persons and property. Determines and providing the most cost effective methods of absorbing or transferring the cost of loss to state assets and injury to State employees. Ensures cost effective administration of claims while maintaining the highest ethical standards in the claims management industry. Promotes proper stewardship of State assets through systematic inspections of State properties, development of safety protocols and safety initiatives.

Agencies

Board of Public Utilities (BPU): Utility Audits, Cable Television, Communications, Customer Relations, Energy Office of the Economist, Service Evaluation, Telecommunications, Water & Waste Water.

Casino Control Commission (CCC): Regulates casinos in New Jersey.

Division of Rate Counsel: insures that all classes of utility consumers receive safe, adequate and proper utility and certain insurance services at affordable rates that are just and nondiscriminatory. In addition, Rate Counsel works to insure that all consumers are knowledgeable about the choices they have in the age of utility competition.

NJ Economic Development Authority: Strengthens New Jersey’s economy by retaining and growing businesses.

New Jersey Building Authority (NJBA): Financing for State capital projects.

New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority: The FCC licensee of seven television broadcast stations which are operated in concert as a statewide public television network.

Office of Administrative Law (OAL): Oversees the rulemaking and administrative hearing processes in the Executive Branch.

Office of Information Technology (OIT): Technology resource for State government agencies.

Office of the Public Defender (OPD): Provides legal defense services for indigent defendants in New Jersey.

State Capitol Joint Management Commission (SCJMC): Manages the State Capitol Complex in Trenton.

Unclaimed Property Administration: The Unclaimed Property Administration (UPA) recovers and records abandoned or lost intangible and tangible property. The UPA’s goal is to return this property to the rightful owner and/or heirs. NJ Unclaimed Property Statute states that property owners never relinquish the right to this property and that the UPA acts as a custodian until the property is returned.
